A - Areas of responsibility

Responsibility of Pleevi:

Collecting all incoming data from the MQTT broker.
Validation of received incoming data. This focusses on validation of the consistency between the incomming messages and the active configurations.
Generation on a regular base (15 min) of an optimal plan (charging schedule for each connected device (car, battery, ..)) based on the site infrastructure (site configuration) and defined business rules & goals, transaction info and measurement info received.
Each charging schedule contains the optimized charging power values with future setpoints (power charging values) per 15 minutes. The number of future setpoint that will be sent can be parametrized. Default = 5 hours.

Initiating, following and finishing the charging sessions.
Delivering valid & consistent site config, transaction and measurement data to the MQTT broker with all required info. F.i.
Transactions with at least max power, requested energy, estimated departure time
Measurements of amount of energy charged on regulars short term (e.g. 1 min) basis
Validating & executing the received charging schedules for each individual electric vehicle or battery.
Implementing / switching to a fallback solution in case no schedule is received within X time (connection issue, service issue due to data problems, …).
Safeguarding safety and security of supply by real time monitoring and real time energy management, f.i. situation has changed between 2 schedules (a lot of extra cars arrived, heavy extra load on the grid, cloud instead of sun, …).
